We are proud to announce the new V2 Swage It Primer Pocket Swager for the Dillon XL650 bullet press. Included is the mount, the small primer pin, and mounting hardware. Everything that you need to swage .223, .308, or any other calibers that utilize small or large primers. The V2 swager has been redesigned to drastically reduce any mount movement while swaging as well as some other minor design improvements.

Whats Different Between Version 1 vs Version 2?

On our original mount there were just 2 holes drilled into the mount and it would be attached by machine screws with locking washers. For most people that worked well but some complained that the mount would loosen while swaging. On the mount we have drilled and countersunk the holes as deep as we could to do 2 things. 1. By using the largest head sized tapered screws that we could source, the surface area of the tapered head will lock down the mount far better than the original design and 2. By going as deep as we could go with the taper, we are virtually eliminating any flex from the screws. Combine that with lowering the mounting holes by 0.010, the mount will lock into place securely with very little flex or movement.

Below are the list of benefits using our swager.

  • Machined from billet aerospace stainless steel.
  • Heat Treated / Hardened to ensure longevity.
  • Will not rust like tool steel.
  • Properly re-sizing primer pockets can be achieved because our swager is frame mounted.
  • You will never experience the swaging pin sticking inside the primer pocket or hitting the shell plate.
  • No need to remove the rotary primer disk which means that you can swage in a matter of minutes without the need of time consuming disassembly of the primer system.
  • The easiest setup available.
  • Engineered to properly swage on the Dillon XL650.
  • Our swager actually re-sizes the primer pocket and adds the correct fillet.
  • Use your case feeder and swage over 1000 rounds per hour.
  • Proudly Made In The USA!
  • Patent Pending.

You will not be disappointed in the Swage It S650. We back our products by an unconditional lifetime warranty. If your swager breaks or wears out, just send it back to us and we will send you another free of charge!

We are not in any way affiliated with Dillon Precision.

    Great Product

Posted by Stephen Mariucci on Aug 10th 2016

Recently spoke with Mark with questions about the Swage It tool. He was very patient as I explained the processes I currently use as well as my concerns relative to the use of the Swage It tool. Went ahead ordered and received the Swage It Combo. Really really fast customer service. I ordered it later in the day on a Wednesday, had it in my hands on Friday afternoon. Have only used it on small primer pockets for rifle, but will never go back to hand swaging again, (have a RCBS swager, similar to Dillon). This unit works very well and is as fast as you can cycle the handle. My current process is to de-prime using a generic de-priming die, swage, then rotary clean with SS media. Presto, clean brass. I highly recommend this tool. Thanks Mark for a great product.

    Worth the money

Posted by Brian on May 12th 2016

The product arrived in two days (excellent service). I had no problem following the instructions after watching it in action on youtube. Installation was very easy and as others have shared I'm surprised that Dillion does not offer this tool. There is a learning curve with this product...which is how much pressure and travel it takes on all the different brass types. I had a mixed bunch (2000 rounds) of brass with 40% having a military crimp mixed all together. I had a 1% error rate when I was setting in my new primers. This could be my fault, but once again this tool requires a learning curve to understand the travel and pressure involved. I never felt like I applied enough pressure to damage my Dillion or the shell plate. One tip that helped my out was that the hand on the Dillon will just touch my plastic tote tray when the handle is fully depressed to swage the brass. This visual indicator help my know if the brass was fully swaged or if I needed to apply more pressure. I thought in the future I might hook up a limit switch hooked to a light to let me know that I have fully bottomed out the tool. After 2000 rounds I could not see any wear patterns on the tool. -Thanks

2nd best accessory I've found for XL 650

Posted by Gus on Mar 31st 2016

I'm a HUGE Dillon fan. I've got all sorts of ad ons on my press. Case feeder (best accessory). sky light, tool bar, strong mount, spent primer chute. The Swage it combo is GREAT. I've got the Dillon Super Swage 600, but now it's up for sale. The Swage it is faster/easier to use, and with the leverage of the XL 650 you can really feel your way easily. Outstanding product!

Still getting used to the feel

Posted by Rich on Feb 29th 2016

It arrived within days and was installed within minutes. I still have a bit of a problem with getting the right feel for the swager. What feels to be an already swaged case sometimes is a heavy crimp that the swager doesn't seem to want to enter. I'll check that particular case and redo it. I check the questionable case by simply running the press up and then try to put the case on the swagger itself (by hand). 9 times out of 10 the case is swaged properly and just doesn't appear to be. That said, I swaged and trimmed half of a 5 gallon bucket of 223/556 cases in about an hour, even with me not being sure and rechecking questionable cases. As I get used to it, it appears this is going to save me a heck of a lot of time.

    Awesome product!

Posted by Scratch on Feb 23rd 2016

I ordered the S650 combo and it arrived in just a few days. It installed very easily, and sets up very quickly. I use it for loading .223/5.56. I used to use the Dillon SS600 but this is so much faster. It's just as easy to remove and switch back for seating primers as well. I'm a little surprised that Dillon doesn't make something just like this for their press, as it fits perfectly, is super easy to change, and works so well! If you need to swage brass, and own an XL650... Don't buy a SS600, this is so much faster.

    Very Happy with the S650C

Posted by Steve on Feb 20th 2016

Until just recently I've been using a Dillon Super Swagger 600. it would take several hours to process 1000's of cases of all sizes. Setting it up and taking into account for the different case types took time. I recently set up a Dillon XL650 and just got the S650 Combo. I was able to process 1000+ 223 cases in just over and hour. That would normally take me a week working a hour or more a day with the Dillon 600. This is a great update for the Dillon and is also very easy to install and remove. Two thumbs up. If you have a reloading machine that it will fit on it worth every penny.
