We are proud to announce the new V2 Swage It Primer Pocket Swager for the Dillon XL650 bullet press. Included is the mount, the small primer pin, and mounting hardware. Everything that you need to swage .223, .308, or any other calibers that utilize small or large primers. The V2 swager has been redesigned to drastically reduce any mount movement while swaging as well as some other minor design improvements.
Whats Different Between Version 1 vs Version 2?
On our original mount there were just 2 holes drilled into the mount and it would be attached by machine screws with locking washers. For most people that worked well but some complained that the mount would loosen while swaging. On the mount we have drilled and countersunk the holes as deep as we could to do 2 things. 1. By using the largest head sized tapered screws that we could source, the surface area of the tapered head will lock down the mount far better than the original design and 2. By going as deep as we could go with the taper, we are virtually eliminating any flex from the screws. Combine that with lowering the mounting holes by 0.010, the mount will lock into place securely with very little flex or movement. Below are the list of benefits using our swager.
You will not be disappointed in the Swage It S650. We back our products by an unconditional lifetime warranty. If your swager breaks or wears out, just send it back to us and we will send you another free of charge! We are not in any way affiliated with Dillon Precision. |

Best swage on the market!
Wonderful tool for the 650! Makes processing brass very easy!

Great!
Fast delivery, just a couple days after I purchased them. Easy install and easy to use. Helps with 45 ACP too, I use the large primer tool, and if it doesn't 'feel' right, I know I have a small primer pocket and I eject that one out and move on. Easier than sorting by hand.

Works, but adjustment needed
Set up was easy enough, worked great for about 100 rounds, then the press stopped at near bottom of the stroke. the SwagIt was hitting the shell plate. I removed it and reinstalled again lining it all up properly and again after about 100 rounds it did the same thing. I just barely touched the Swage it and found that it had a slight wiggle play to it back and forth until it dropped into the hole properly. I removed the unit and found the same play between the e-clip and the tool. I removed the e-clip and installed the spare that came with the package. Still some wiggle. There was not enough room to install both. I found a small washer and installed that on the tool and was able to install the e-clip tighter on the tool. I then reinstalled it to the pres and have run another couple hundred now without issue. I would have preferred to see tool head thread into the plate/bracket with the adjustment on the bolts. just my two cents. There is not much room for play lining up the primer pockets/shell plate hole. I would however recommend this unit as it has great reduced my case prep time. I can now FL size in station one, Swage in two, trim/chamfer in station3 with Lee Quick Trim Die. and done. I can do about 50 in 10 minutes.

Love it! Make sure Shell plate has proper spacing before starting.
I'd give it five stars but have not started priming the brass. I resized/decapped and swaged 1800 RD's in two hours on my new Dillon XL650 but I will caution NEW Dillon XL650 users that you must make sure that you have a minimal amount of spacing beneath the shell plate disc. I'm new to the press and realized my mistake halfway through so I had to take out the resizing die and slightly tighten down the main screw on the shell plate holder disc just to run the shells back through the swagger. There was a good amount of them that did not get fully swaged the first time. They are now done and ready for case length cutting. Then I can't wait to get the Dillon XL650 "Rockin & Rollin". I'll keep you posted.

Time Saver!
I bought the S650 combo and have only used the small primer pocket swager on 5.56 brass- works great. It eliminated the extra swaging step after case resizing/depriming/trimming, taking a tedious task out of case prep. I didn't have any problems with shipping, they shipped it within a few days. The setup was easy and straightforward. The video was also good to watch so you know what to expect and understand how it functions. I'll be using the large primer swager next...

Life changing piece of equipment
I was wrecking my elbow slowly drudging along with a RCBS swage at the rate of probably 150-200 cases an hour, someone turned me towards this and 5 minutes of installation (use a torque wrench because if you don't this will shake loose) I processed just over 1000 cases of 5.56 in under 50 minutes. An added bonus that I noticed was also that it would break up the fouling in the primer pocket and made it far easier to clean.

works well
So I waited a bit to write my review as I was initially not impressed. I was still having to take the brass out of my second stage in the press to do some individual reaming when primers were still not seating well after being swaged. So after running about 100 brass through the depriming and swaging process, I was having more issues with primers still not seating well. After some investigation I determined that the primers seated perfectly on my Lee press, but when trying to use my Dillon the primers were still really tight. I realized there was a small problem with my Dillon press shell plate needing a little adjustment so the brass would sit a little looser in the plate. On my Lee press the brass had a little bit more wiggle room to allow the pocket to line up better. Now the swagger runs beautifully and I can prime my military 223/5.56 brass without issues on both presses. Would recommend highly. In the last 2 weeks have run 850 rounds through the Swag er and all are priming solidly. Great product.
